This Father’s Day, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, brothers, uncles, and father figures who show up every day for their families and communities.
But as we honor the men who have sacrificed so much for others, we must also remember to prioritize something too many men put last: their own health.
That’s why PHEN is urging every Black man to act. Don’t wait for symptoms. Don’t assume you’re too young. Don’t put off a conversation that could save your life.

A simple PSA blood test can help detect prostate cancer early, when treatment is most effective, and lives can be saved.
This Father’s Day, remember that your family is counting on you. Your children, grandchildren, spouse, loved ones, and community need your strength, wisdom, and presence—not just today, but for years to come.
The greatest gift you can give your family is taking care of yourself.
Happy Father’s Day!
