PHEN hosted its 18th Annual Prostate Cancer Disparity Summit, as a virtual event throughout September 2022, which was also Prostate Cancer Awareness month.
These sessions took place on four different dates throughout September and each session was 2.5 hours long, including speakers, presenters, panelists of community leaders, patients, medical experts, and political leaders. Participants addressed medical, policy and community outreach initiatives towards eliminating the prostate cancer racial disparity.
The Summit had a total audience of 500 live viewers, and each session was recorded and promoted via social media, reaching more than 500,000 people. This year, PHEN also hosted a virtual exhibit hall which had over 1,100 online visitors.
