Mr. Quardricos Bernard Driskell


Mr. Quardricos Bernard Driskell is a federal lobbyist, the legislative and political affairs manager for the American Urological Association (AUA), the premier medical association for the advancement of urologic patient care. Prior to the AUA, he worked for two patient voluntary health associations where he advanced the patient voice into policy and research deliberations through services to Congress, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and National Institutes of Health (NIH). He has been responsible for federal lobbying efforts, securing medical research funding and legislation for chronic disease patients, which included fighting cuts in cancer and psoriatic disease research as well as helping to draft legislation designed to establish a council of federal agencies, medical experts and patients tasked with drafting and implementing a national strategy to combat prostate cancer.  For his efforts in healthcare government relations, Quardricos has been awarded the Remedy Health Media (Remedy) and New York City Health Business Leaders (NYCHBL) Boldest Digital Health Influencers Awards for 2016 and the National Minority Quality Forum’s inaugural 40 Under 40 Leaders in Health Awards, honoring influential young minority leaders making a difference in health care. He is also an adjunct professor of legislative politics, specifically religion and politics at the George Washington University Graduate School of Political Management. Mr. Driskell holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Leadership Studies from Morehouse College; a Master of Theological Ethics in Religion and Society from Harvard University; a Master’s in Legislative Affairs and a Graduate Certificate in Lobbying and Political Action Committees at The Graduate School of Political Management at The George Washington University.
