Pamela Coleman, M.D. Pamela Coleman, is currently the Interim Chief of Urology for Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC. In addition, she also serves as an Assistant Professor of Urology at Howard University’s Department of Surgery. In 1977, Dr. Coleman received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Georgetown University and went on to obtain her medical degree from Howard University in 1981. Dr. Coleman has extensive experience in prostate cancer in private practice as well as hospital settings. Her passion for prostate cancer is extraordinary as evidenced by the multiple publications in several national medical journals. She currently serves as Principle Investigator (PI) for several active prostate cancer clinical trials and serves as Co-Investigator for other local and nationally funded prostate projects. Dr. Coleman has received numerous awards for her community work and was a panel speaker for the LaSalle D. Laffall Surgical Symposium. Dr. Coleman also serves as the Director of the “Men Take Ten” prostate cancer education and early detection program at Howard University Cancer Center. |
