Ronald Chen, M.D., M.P.H.
Dr. Ronald Chen, is an Associate Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a radiation oncologist who specializes in the care of prostate cancer patients. He is also a researcher who focuses on studying quality of life and issues related to cancer survivorship, and has received multiple research grants from the National Cancer Institute, Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), and other organizations. Dr. Chen received his MD and Master of Public Health degrees from Harvard University, and also completed his radiation oncology residency at Harvard. He serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Clinical Oncology; Urologic Oncology: Seminars and Original Investigations; and Practical Radiation Oncology. He has participated in the writing of several books, chapters, and national guidelines on the treatment of prostate cancer. |
