Mary Henderson recently acknowledged the 6th year anniversary of the passing of her husband from prostate cancer. However, even with the loss of her husband Mary continues the fight against prostate cancer. She participated in PHEN's national discussion about prostate cancer awareness by calling - in and speaking to the webcast audience on September 9th. On September 19th, Mary helped organize a prostate cancer awareness event at her church, Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Vallejo, CA. PHEN provided materials for the church event.
